Kashmir Tour 8N 9D With Kargil and Padum

On Arrival in Srinagar Airport meet and greet by representative and transfer Hotel directly and after refresh begin to the Mughal tour. Mughal Garden, Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Nishat Bagh is a terraced Mughal garden built on the eastern side of the Dal Lake,. It is the second largest Mughal garden in the Kashmir Valley. The largest in size is the Shalimar Bagh, which is also located on the bank of the Dal Lake. ‘Nishat Bagh’ is Urdu, which means "Garden of Joy," "Garden of Gladness" and "Garden of Delight. Then visit to Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jahan or (Mehr-un-Nissa). The garden is considered the high point of Mughal horticulture. It is now a public park. Evening back to hotel for night stay.

After Breakfast drive directly to Kargil (118 Kms) passing over Zojila Pass. Enroute visit Zero point in Sonmarg. Enjoy the snow adventure activities and paragliding. Stop at Drass, the 2nd coldest inhabitant place in the World for & enjoy cup of tea. Visit Drass memorial for 1 hour. Then drive along the Drass River till one arrives at Kargil & Check in at Hotel.

Early Morning drive to Padum (Zanskar), on the way, visit to Karsekar village for visit to giant rock carved Buddha in 960 AD, later leave for Padum enroute have magnificent view of Nun Kun Peak and Dran Drung Glacier. Overnight stay in Padum Hotel.

Morning after Breakfast leave for local sightseeing of Karsha, Stongdey & Sani gompa and visit to Zangla fort. Post lunch leave for Rangdum. Overnight stay in Padum Hotel.

Post breakfast we check out from our Camp/ Hotel / Guest House & Drive to sonamarg. & Overnight at the Hotel.

After breakfast, leave from sonamarg and drive to Pahalgam (181.5 km) via NH1 (Vale of Kashmir) on the way visit Saffron fields and Avantipur ruins which is eleven hundred years old temple. Finally by the lunch time you will reach Pahalgam which is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. After lunch enjoy the nature charm of the valley. Overnight at Hotel

After breakfast visit to Chandanwari, Beetab Valley & Aru. The road to chandanwari is beautiful and enjoyable. The valley is of average nature. However people can see the Beautiful starting point of great Amarnath Yatri Beetab valley is towards northeast of Pahalgam and falls between Pahalgam and Chandanwari and is en route Amarnath Temple Yatra. (01 hour Halt at each place). Drive back to Srinagar in the evening and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

After breakfast we proceed to Gulmarg by 10am. Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful resorts in the valley. It is at 52kms from Srinagar. Gulmarg has been a resort for the kings like Yousuf Shah Chak and Jahangir who used to visit frequently. Gulmarg boasts Asia's highest and longest cable car project, the Gulmarg Gondola. The two-stage ropeway ferries about 600 people per hour to and from Kongdoori Mountain, a shoulder of nearby Afarwat Peak (4,200 m (13,780 ft). You can also try skiing on your own. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and also has highest golf course in the world with 18 holes. Overnight stay at Hotel in gulmarg

After breakfast visit Doodhpathri 40 Kms Enjoy the meadows of Doodhpathri and also visit the Doodh Ganga for Doodhpathri is famous. The name "doodpathri" means Valley of Milk. It is said that the famous saint of Kashmir Sheikh ul Aalam Sheikh Noor din Noorani has prayed here and once when he was in search of water in the meadow afternoon driver will drop you at Airport your flight with memorable experiences !!
